Citizen Vagrom, Seattle's monthly civic video magazine, presents CLIT-O-MATIC: THE ADVENTURES OF WHITE TRASH GIRL (parental discretion is advised) a short film by "Miss Jennifer Reeder", part and parcel of an action-packed January '97 issue.

FEATURES:
White Trash Girl
This ongoing video serial chronicles the (mis) adventures of a grrl super-hero named WHITE TRASH GIRL. Her bodily fluids are toxic and she sure knows how to use them. On the surface, this series is one big, rude, crude romp through a scatological wonderland -- a space to indulge your most abject fantasies. However, the sub-text rather critically (although unconventionally) explores issues of race, class, gender and sexuality.

Newsworthy Event
Ms. Reeder, from Kansas, is scheduled to make a personal appearance for the Speakeasy Cafe's curated film and video series (much celebrated by the local press) INDEPENDENT EXPOSURE Thursday, January 23rd at 7:00PM, sponsored in part by Citizen Vagrom.

Welfare De-Forms
Discourse on the new legislation conducted at the Food Bank.

Independent Film:
"Talking Stick", a locally produced series, focusing this month on immigrants rights and Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR) on CIA-CRACK with Robert Parry.

"Wish", from Gothic Productions.

Independent Music:
Crying Love by Robert Forster; Beggars Banquet Records.

Independent Press:
Deface the Nation on Crack, and consumption endgames.
