It’s not often I read about a former employer in a national magazine, highlighted in a feature article in this month’s Washington Monthly<\/a>. Of course, I worked a couple of summers through college doing “design” at Arthur Andersen<\/a>, long before the troubles<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

First it was Tinky-Winky. Now radical right-wing group Focus on the Family outs Spongebob Squarepants<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And then there’s the equally vocal Parents Television Council, a group responsible for 99.9% of FCC complaints<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What [FCC chair Michael] Powell did not reveal\u2014apparently because he was unaware\u2014was the source of the complaints. According to a new FCC estimate obtained by Mediaweek, nearly all indecency complaints in 2003\u201499.8 percent\u2014were filed by the Parents Television Council, an activist group.
\n<\/strong>99.8% of 240,000 complaints, that is<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
